Level 1A Course

In this level, we are really leveling up! You are going to learn how to play the LH parts of all the songs you learned in the Twinkler level. Then you are going to play both RH and LH parts at the same time! Now you are a real piano player! At the same time, you will be getting better and better at reading music, which will help you learn music that you have never heard before or can’t play by ear. And remember to keep all your pieces in your REPERTOIRE until you finish the level. Don’t play and forget….play and keep playing! As they get easier and easier, you can start adding cool endings (like the cross-hand arpeggios), or adding extra notes here and there that you might be imagining in your mind! This is called improvisation. Finally, you are going to start learning SCALES! This is one of the greatest TOOLS of all! Be patient, and take your time. You can do this!
